The Bay Hopper fleet includes 25-27 ft long Carolina Skiffs that comfortably seat 12-16 people in three sections. There are no bathrooms on board.
You may or may not have noticed...
Our entire fleet is named after the epic bids that populate our beloved Ocean City! Here is a quick rundown of our current fleet:
Blue Heron
The OG of OC Bay Hoppers, Blue Heron runs out of downtown Ocean City at the marina located at 307 Dorchester Street. Blue Heron is Captain Dave’s favorite boat, and also the craft that had us committing to Carolina Skiffs as the safest, most durable and customer friendly boats we could imagine.
Cormorant
The second boat added to our fleet, Cormorant is based at our World Headquarters- 11703 Coastal Highway “The Kiosk.” Cormorant has a wind blocking (and light drizzle blocking) see-through canvas/vinyl encapsulation- so those trips where the weather is iffy can still deliver good times!
Oyster Catcher
Our 3rd boat, the sister ship to Comorant. Oyster Catcher’s standout feature is its Liquor License, so you will always find a wide selection of adult beverages for sale on any of its trips!
Egret
Our 4th Carolina Skiff, with a slightly smaller size (25’ vs 27’ for our other boats), Egret can carry less people but still provides a great way to see the coastal bay area. In 2025, Egret will run out of Ocean Pines Marina and is always on call for a taxi ride into OC!
Osprey
Our newest addition- did we mention we are getting into the “thrill ride” side of things! Wait until you see this speedster out on the water…
