The 2021 season has come to an end. We ran through November with a late season birding adventure — we had another great year! This summer was once again raging success. This is all because of you. So, thank you all for believing in us and using our services. We hope you all enjoyed your adventures with us and we look forward to seeing you next summer.

Looking Forward to 2022
Now that all of our boats are out of the water, we’re working hard on making plans for the 2022 summer season. In June we were able to splash our newest addition to the Bay Hopper fleet: Oyster Catcher. This boat took over the duties running our Shuttle Service running North and South each afternoon and evening. We’re going to make the Shuttle a bigger part of our offering next year.

West Ocean City
Our plans to open a second location in West Ocean City moved a little slower than we had hoped. Where the restaurant Mad Fish once sat, you’ll now see our OC Bay Hopper shipping container! The build-out of Pier23 is really exciting. If you’re in town this winter, drive by and check it out. It’s going to be amazing!

We did the Assateague Tour with family and friends. The best $22 we spent all week! Captain Patrick was awesome, a very friendly, knowledgeable and low key guide. We saw a herd of wild ponies almost as soon as we pulled up to the island. Thank you OC Bay Hopper for a wonderful morning!

Truly enjoyed the "liquid lunch" cruise on our first day in Ocean City. Patrick was the captain, it was only my wife and I on the cruise, so it worked out great! Patrick was very friendly, knowledgeable, and down to earth. Had the adult grilled cheese from The Green Turtle, which was delish. We enjoyed the views out on the water, and the conversation as well! Would definitely do this again.

Had an excellent lunch, sea food platter, everything cooked perfectly. Lite breeze coming in across the dinning area made for a pleasant experience. Service was top notch without being a pest. A little pricey, but, then where isn’t ?

Took our 8YO on the ice cream cruise. Just the right amount of time and gave us a nice mid-afternoon break with ice cream. Patrick and Abby were knowledgeable and very personable. Great trip!

My kids (7 and 4) loved this boat ride and crab-catching, and we all learned so much too! Our guide was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone had a chance to get involved in pulling up cages and trot lines, measuring crabs and holding crabs (if desired). We would absolutely do this again.

We spent the morning with Captain Dave on the Crabbing Adventure. Captain Dave is simply phenomenal. He is absolutely one of the most positive people that I have ever met. He started the trip learning the names of everyone on board. It immediately personalized the trip and showed us that he truly cared. He reminded everyone that they were there to work and get dirty (if we chose, we could also relax.) He spent the entire cruise enthusiastic and complimenting the tremendous "skill level"of my children that had now became crabbers. He insured that each person was able to participate on the level that they wanted. We each pulled pots, pulled up lines, caught bouys, measured crabs and shook out the pots. My daughter was able to prep the bait by ripping the fish in half. We got dirty, we got involved and we had an absolute blast! Thank you Captain Dave! We will be returning!

My family and myself took the sunset cruise.
The captain was very professional and personal. There was another family that had two all children, one was celebrating a 6th birthday
He let both kids stear the boat.
This trip was very enjoyable and we will be back

Went for a sunset cruise this evening. We had a great time.
Before we arrived, I had questions and got my answers fairly quickly . They were helpful with my mom needing extra assistance.
The cruise itself was enjoyable and we spent extra time on the water which was welcomed by all.

Shuttle Service
Next year we’ll be focusing more on our water shuttle service. This service has regularly scheduled routes heading up and down the bay with drop-offs and pick-ups at most of the bayside bars and restaurants. You can hop on and hop off as you’d like – for a small fee of course (typically $15 one way). With our new West Ocean City location, we now have a regular stop at the end of our route and will be refining the schedule to get more people to the places they want to go.
